After activating the plugin, you will see a new tab under the plugin’s settings called “Custom Tags”. This tab contains the configuration for the custom fields associated with files.

General Settings:
Note: Enabling this option will remove the bulk uploading functionality as there will be a popup that asks extra information for each uploaded file.
Select default columns to hide: When you add custom tag, there can be a lot of columns in the list view. Select some default columns in this option that you want to hide from the list view on the frontend.
Custom Tags:
– Click on the Add New button to open a popup.
– Enter the tag name (e.g. Remarks) and click the Add Field button.
– Select Tag type from text field or text area.
– Select option to make this tag Required/Optional.
– Select option to display is List-View or Not.
– Select option to display is File Information section or Not.
The page will refresh and you should see the new column added.
You can Edit your custom tags to rename it, change the type (currently there are 2 field types – text and textarea), make it a required field, display/hide in the list view, and display/hide in the information section.
On the frontend, custom tags appear in the list view if the option “display in the list view” is checked and in the sidebar information panel when a file is previewed and the option “display in the sidebar” is checked.
Users can enter the information in these custom tags when a file is uploaded if you check the option “display form when file is uploaded” or they can enter/change the information from the file preview popup.
